She is best known for her performance as Judy Kramer from the 2005 Fox television series Point Pleasant and Marcy Brender from the Dawson's creek series. On the Guiding Light soap production, she played Marina Cooper. This role brought her an award nomination from the Soap Opera Digest magazine in 2003 as Outstanding newcomer. Dollar played Cindy Thomas in the ABC program Women's Murder Club from 2007-2008. She starred as Happy Valley in the 2012 NBC Pilot, which did not get taken on.
