Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in the combat sports. She studied kickboxing, boxing and wrestling prior to making her debut appearance as an amateur at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd went on an impressive three-fight winning streak in Ultimate Reno Combat. In the three fights, she defeated her opponent in the very first round. After that, she returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen was first beaten by Silvia Babyghian prior to going to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9, where she faced Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen and beat her in a an unanimous vote to remove a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd won her next match in a fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen made her pro debut in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC. Invicta 11, she was able to take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta defeated her at bantamweight and won via armbar submission during the second round. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to take down McGill in third round TKO. Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing weight of catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd had missed weight. However, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. Aspen won her fight with a TKO after the second round. Invicta FC 21, she won her final fight with the promotion with a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She fought Linalansberg at UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina by using her ground and pound tactics which resulted in an TKO 2nd round win. Ladd continued to dominate and scored an even stunning victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd took the win in round one and was awarded the performance of the Night Bonus. Sijara Eubanks from Invicta FC was her opponent in a rematch at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's first big fight. The two fights were an intense fight which Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters received the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her winning streak. The third time she fought on UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In a match that was a replacement in the UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight was unanimously decided in her favor.
