Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
While I had one baby on me and others within the cradle was working 12 hour shifts grinding floors and cutting off wallpaper. Ha! It was beginning to make sense, but was still far from being completed. For furnishing the space would be a huge effort with regards to both time and funds. Also, I had to go out and shop for my most-loved items. In order to stay within my budget I took my kids along with me as I searched for gems hidden in estate sales. Our routine was to visit garage sales and auctions on Sundays and Saturdays as well as purchase various of old pieces and new constructed. I'd spend my workdays in the driveway either painting or sanding. The look was similar to it... This is the time my love of restoration of furniture started. It didn't matter if the house was already furnished. I also had a booth at the market to sell objects. Eventually I had more pieces that I knew what to do with and had outgrown the space. I hosted open houses in my home where one 000 people could visit during a weekend. the visitors were able to purchase items on the ground level. Growing Days was founded in my house. Alongside my flourishing business, I also grew our family. The balance between work and family was crucial to me. I wanted to balance being a mother as well as a business owner who was successful. Growing Days was the obvious choice. Nora came into our lives in 2013 as our 4th baby. I was thrilled with where my company was taking me, but I felt like I needed to take a breather. I made the decision to take a break and spend some time at home, with my kids. It was exactly what I needed. In the course of a few months, my phone started to ring. I was getting requests from people requesting for assistance with home improvements as well as interior design. They had mainly attended my house during the open houses that were held for furniture. It wasn't long before I was managing a full-scale business for home improvement. I began by taking clients at a pace that I was confident in. There is a good chance that I would have been laughing if I had been told that the business was going to be the premise of an upcoming TV show that airs on the DIY Network. It's funny to think back about the idea.
