Katherine Heigl has opened her mind about being raised in a "white bubble" and how that revelation has affected the way she parents her adopted multiracial children. In a recent "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy" and "Grey's Anatomy" actor Katherine Heigl shared that she did not care about the color of her skin until she got to know her adoptive sister from South Korea. "I inquired of my sister, Meg whether she'd received the same treatment when she was going out with us parents and in a different manner when she was out alone without them. She replied, "Oh yeah, always!" This made me realize I was so ignorant," Heigl said to her parents. Heigl admitted she became upset and believed she needed to channel her anger towards helping her adoptee daughters. Heigl along with her long-time husband -- singer Josh Kelley -- have a 4-year-old son together, Joshua Bishop Kelley, Jr. Their child Nancy Leigh was adopted from South Korea by the couple in 2009; Adalaide is an Black 8-year-old girl who adopted in the year 2012.
